Biography:
Mad Thompson was born in the Northern Virginia suburbs of Washington D.C. to two proud accountants who taught her the ways of and love for Math. Mad’s passion for mathematics and technology culminated in her choice to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with an anticipated April 2021 graduation. Her academic interests involve all things audio. On the occasion that Mad is not lurking around the Engineering Building, she can be found curating playlists, photographing for a joint-effort photo series, researching conspiracy theories, eating peanut butter, or at the gym.
Projects:
Mad is currently researching audio compression algorithms, specifically for applications within airplane cockpits.
